Upcycled ingredients may come from waste streams, but they are not waste. They’re nutrient dense botanical materials sourced from existing food and agricultural streams and repurposed for skincare. From fruit pulp and peels to pressed seeds, skins and husks, they bring powerful skin-loving benefits.
From waste-stream derived actives and zero waste ingredients to upcycled hydrosols that replace water for added sensorial and skin benefits, every ingredient is chosen with intention. We’re building a formulation system where circular sourcing and conscious design are built in from the start.
An innovative active created through a fermentation process that enhances the availability of beneficial enzymes to help reboot dull skin through gentle exfoliation, hydration and brightening. Made from pomegranate pulp left over from juice production, they’re rich in natural enzymes, ellagic acid and vitamin C, helping to refine texture and revive radiance without the harshness of traditional acids.
Delicate but powerful, this upcycled floral extract helps build skin resilience against daily stressors by protecting against pollution-driven oxidative stress while soothing, brightening, and supporting a more radiant, youthful looking complexion. Our peach blossoms, normally discarded during fruit cultivation, are hand harvested from sustainable orchards using ethical, low-impact farming practices, then naturally dried and extracted using ultrasound technology to help reduce waste and environmental impact while supporting local communities.
Saccharomyces Barley Seed Ferment Filtrate
Gin distillation leaves behind a rich, nutrient-packed liquid typically destined for waste, which is instead combined with upcycled rapeseed glycerine to deliver exceptional hydration to quench thirsty skin, lock in moisture, and protect against dehydration. This zero-waste process pairs the hydrating power of glycerine with barley seed ferment filtrate, rich in polysaccharides, antioxidants and skin-conditioning compounds, to boost moisture and support the skin barrier.
Upcycled from whole blackcurrants, including the skins, seeds, and pulp left over from fruit juicing, our Blackcurrant Extract helps protect, calm, and support the skin barrier while bringing brightness back to dull, stressed skin. Rich in antioxidant compounds that help defend against oxidative stress, it also supports hydration and calmer, healthier-looking skin through a zero-waste process that makes full use of the fruit.
Our wild harvested Kakadu Plum is a powerful skin-brightening active, drawn from the world’s richest natural source of vitamin C and packed with antioxidants, including gallic and ellagic acids, that help energise dull skin, support collagen production, and strengthen the skin barrier. Sourced in Australia with a strong emphasis on traceability, biodiversity, and circular waste programs, it reflects a more thoughtful approach to ingredient sourcing, one that honours the land, communities, and cultural knowledge connected to it.
