I spent years shaping stories for big businesses, and while I loved the work, I never truly felt fulfilled. I wanted to build something of my own, something meaningful.
 

When I thought about what gave me joy, I remembered raiding the fridge and pantry as a child, mixing whatever I could find (much to my mother’s annoyance) to create moisturisers and masques. The idea of turning that childhood curiosity into something more felt natural, so I began studying organic skincare formulation.
 

After discovering upcycled ingredients, I spent years researching their potential. Made from by-products of the food and agriculture industries, these ingredients don’t just reduce waste—they combat climate change, drive positive social, and environmental change, and deliver proven skin benefits backed by science. Yet the beauty industry continues to overlook them.

Botanic Rhapsody was created to change that. We believe real impact means going deeper, beyond surface-level packaging claims, and that sustainability should start with ingredient circularity. Every ingredient is chosen with intention, selected for function, benefits, sustainability, and sourcing integrity. We want to empower you to feel good about what you’re putting on your skin, and the positive change you’re creating for people and planet.

The beauty industry needs to do better. For us, that starts with rethinking ingredients, embracing circularity, and leading with purpose, because sustainability and efficacy should go hand in hand.
